Kubrat Pulev has been suspended from boxing in the US

A boxer who kissed a reporter without consent during a live TV interview has been fined $2,500 and ordered to take harassment prevention classes.

Bulgarian heavyweight Kubrat Pulev, 38, kissed Jennifer Ravalo without consent when she was interviewing him after he defeated Romania’s Bogdan Dinu in Costa Mesa, California, in March.

The California State Athletic Commission ordered Pulev to pay a $2,500 and attend sexual harassment prevention classes before he can fight again in the United States. 

Pulev apologised to Ravalo.
